Prater's Automotive Repair was founded in 2017 by Bart Prater. After 15 years working for independent shops and dealerships, Bart decided to go out on his own and open his own automotive repair shop. Bart is a hands-on business owner, who still works as a technician and carries on the business end of things.
All of our parts and work are backed by a 24 month/24,000 mile warranty. This provides you the confidence the work performed is of the highest quality.

We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 5:30PM.
This makes after-hours drop off and pick up easy. If you call to schedule an appointment ahead of time, this allows for the most timely service.
WE MAKE REPAIRS AS EASY AS POSSIBLE
If you are dropping off for a quick service, you can wait in our lobby, where we have complimentary Wi-FI, TV, snacks and drinks.
We service and repair all makes and models, including new and used. Our goal is always to extend the life of your vehicle by taking a proactive approach to preventative car care.
We also offer free pick up for Downtown Medina.
For advanced repairs, we aim for same day turnaround, but depending on the extent of work required, it may be a day or two. We will provide you with a turnaround time when you drop-off your vehicle or after we have inspected your repair needs.
We understand not all repairs are planned and may not fit easily into your budget. While we keep our prices low, it is never at the expense of quality. If the cost of your repairs is outside your budget, we invite you to apply for repair financing.
